If you have not already registered, create an account now. To create an account on Napload:
1. Register as "Artist" to promote your work on the Napload website, or as a "Music lover" to create playlists, alerts, etc.
2. You will automatically receive an email to activate your account.
3. If you are an "Artist", you can upload your tracks, create your albums, add images and videos, organise tracks, choose a promotional single for your albums, etc.
4. If you are a "Music lover", you can create playlists, create alerts by musical genre to automatically receive details of the latest new tracks on Napload, etc.

Napload informs you to protect your copyrights:

* Napload protects you by logging your IP address, your contact details and the date and time your files were put online. Napload places great emphasis on the rights of artists, authors, composers, performers, directors, etc. In the event of any dispute, Napload may assist you in proceedings to assert your rights in relation to prior ownership.

When your works are produced, published, distributed, an authors’ federation can manage your rights on your behalf and represent you (rights to sales of CDs, DVDs, radio passages, downloads*, etc.). You must then sign a contract with this authors’ federation to become a member.

To become an ASCAP writer member, you must have written or co-written a musical composition or a song that has been:
a. commercially recorded (CD, record, tape, etc.);
b. or, performed publicly in any venue licensable by ASCAP (club, live concert, symphonic concert or recital venue, college or university, etc.);
c. or, performed in any audio visual or electronic medium (film, television, radio, Internet, cable, pay-per-view, etc.);
d. or, published and available for sale or rental.

Napload informs you to protect your work:

- Register a "Lettre solo".

- Make a bailiff’s statement

- Send yourself a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt and retain the sealed envelope.


* N.B.: as soon as you are a member of an authors’ federation, please ensure that you are allowed to promote your songs free of charge on the Internet!
